School. Friendships. Relationships. Expectations. Social media. The future.
Figuring out who you are while it seems like everyone else has it worked out. You don't need to deal with all of it on your own.

You don't need the right words before coming to counselling.

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong before talking to someone

I know it can be hard watching your daughter struggle and not knowing how to help.
Perhaps she has become more withdrawn.
Friendships have become difficult.
School pressure is increasing.
She seems anxious or unusually hard on herself.
She's lost confidence.
She's struggling but doesn't want to talk to you about everything.
I'm a counsellor with a Bachelor of Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, supporting girls and young women through the pressures and challenges that can come with growing up.
I'm also a mum and stepmum, so I understand that growing up, and parenting someone who is growing up, doesn't always follow a simple path.
Talking to someone you don't know can feel strange at first, especially when you're not quite sure what's wrong or how to explain it.
That's okay.
You don't need to arrive with the right words. You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about. And you don't need to tell me everything in the first session.
My role isn't to judge you, lecture you or tell you who you should be.
It's to listen, help you make sense of what you're experiencing and give you space to talk honestly about the things that matter to you.
We'll take things at your pace.
You are more than your achievements, your mistakes and other people's expectations of you.
This is not a crisis care service. If you have an urgent medical need please dial 000 or for urgent mental health support contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636
